Daro’s problem was one that we see a lot. Accounting software they’d bought (called Greentree) did everything it needed from an order, stock, customer management and invoicing perspective, however there was no provision to integrate with their website.

For their business to run smoothly and more effectively, we needed to make Greentree talk to an ecommerce site and sync online orders in real time. Plus the online shop needed to showcase Daro’s 40,000 kitchen drawer, ironmongery and lighting products in a slick yet functional way so that their business customers could purchase stock quickly and easily.

Enter Ensemble, our own in-house ecommerce platform with amazing capabilities.

Through it, we built secure data access which linked with Greentree at the back of the site, and created a good-looking, customer-friendly website design for the front end. Easy to use and easy to buy from; fully integrated and fully automated.

With the incredible online sales results they’d seen, Daro went back to their business plan and updated it to include some killer business goals. We were also recognised for our expertise, winning B2B Site of the Year at WireHive 100 and coming runner up for B2B Site of the Year at the Drum Awards. Win win.
